BULLHEAD CITY — People in need or those seeking companionship don’t have to wait until Thursday for Thanksgiving dinner.

Dinner will be served starting at 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. — or whenever all the food is gone, whichever comes first.

Lodge members and volunteers are cooking 25 turkeys. The menu also includes mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing and pie.

Dinner is free but donations will be accepted.

Free meals also will be offered Thursday, at the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce and Lizzy’s Kitchen in Bullhead City and at River’s Edge Community Christian Church in Needles. At all three sites, donations are accepted but not necessary.

At the Bullhead chamber building, 1251 Highway 95, dinner will be served in the auditorium downstairs. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The community dinner is aimed at adults and children in need, who might not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal.
