Next WOW: Crisis Food Distribution April 3rd at Rotary Park - BHC. Entrances to distribution are Lakeside Drive and Balboa Drive, or Chaparral Drive and Lakeside Drive. Bullhead City Police Department will be monitoring the traffic at this distribution. Follow Signs. Open to the Public 11a - 2pm.
Instead of cancelling April events amidst the health crisis, we have collaborated with Bullhead City, Arizona, Government, Bullhead City Parks and Recreation, Bhc Police Dept., and St. Mary's Food Bank to mobilize a Crisis Food Distribution service until further notice.
This will be a special 'no-contact' drive-thru emergency distribution.
Two lines of cars will enter the parking lot under BHC Police monitoring entrances to park.
Signage will be displayed to attendees in vehicles with no-contact distribution instructions clearly marked.
Six Administrators will man 3 check-in stations per each line of cars. Administrators will have specific guidelines that must be followed. Clip-board will have questions to hold up to vehicle while completing sign-in information.
Remember your I.D. You MUST show government I.D. to receive food.
Anyone picking up for others MUST show a proxy letter permission slip with a copy of I.D. and/or complete name & address info signed by them to receive food.
A number will be marked on the windshield of each car to denote how many household food allotments will be placed in the car.
Car will pull forward to loading zone. Volunteers will load cars directly with food box/bags/items staged on tables according to the number written on the car windshield.
Pick-ups for others is limited to THREE (3) households. You must show a permission slip proxy letter signed by the person you are picking up for: A copy of their driver license or I.D., or NAME, Complete street ADDRESS- ZIPCODE, # IN HOUSEHOLD that live at that address, # OF CHILDREN.
